Empathy is Exposure’s
daughter. Empathy cleaned her wounds to give her mother the strength and
confidence to bear her backbone. Empathy saw that no one should be alone
and that we all have backbones to bear and wounds to carry. She shows
her own wounds to encourage others to do the same and to support one another.
The 3 dimentional vertibrae also represent stones from the cirlce of stones
where woman used to sit in a cirlce and share their stories while passing
a stone. Her vertabrae are the individual story stones of her life.
